Vitex

Vitex agnus-castus (chasteberry) –  is the fruit of the chaste tree sometimes called “the womens’ herb. It is used for menstrual cycle irregularities, treatment of  polycystic ovarian syndrome [PCOS], premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and symptoms of menopause. It is also used for treating “lumpy” (fibrocystic) breasts, female infertility, preventing miscarriage  and  increasing breast milk.

Vitex agnus-castus is also used to treat hormonal acne, nervousness, dementia, headaches and migraine.
